What Is A Service?

A service involves a thorough check-up of your gas appliances to ensure they are functioning properly and safely. During a service, we will visually inspect all components and parts to detect any wear at an early stage. We will also check the fuse rating of the appliance, ensure there are no blockages in the flue system, and verify that all products of combustion are being safely removed.

Additionally, we will clean the burners and injectors, adjust the burner pressures if necessary, clean the air filters, check the ventilation, and perform flue flow and spillage tests (for carbon monoxide). Each service will be given a test result sheet on completion.

In order to achieve the best protection for the boiler, it is recommended that it is fitted after the last radiator on the circuit before the boiler. The filter must be serviced once a year at the same time as your annual boiler service. The Magna Clean Filter is designed to last the lifetime of your boiler (normally 10 to 15 years).
